Akka2O COnTRASolv® is a unique formulation resulting from years of research and application, composed of a mixture of innovative surfactants, capable of rapidly degrading every family of hydrocarbons (oils, gasoline, diesel fuel, chlorinated solvents, etc.), both in soils and waters, for in situ and ex situ environmental remediation operations.
It facilitates the "molecular cracking" of hydrocarbons (molecular fragmenter). Due to the selective activation of its active ingredient, Akka2O COnTRASolv® is able to treat many families of hydrocarbons (heavy hydrocarbons, light hydrocarbons, PAHs, BTEXS, MTBE, dense fuel oils, chlorinated solvents, fats, etc.) with high efficiency and does not generate oxidation-reduction reactions, thus avoiding the production of unwanted by-products of the reaction.

Environmental remediation
The product can be used for the remediation and environmental restoration of polluted sites as primary or secondary treatment and is compatible with physical, chemical or biological techniques for the removal of contaminants through their biodegradation. In addition, the product makes contaminants more biodegradable, facilitating and accelerating the processes of Bio-Remediation, Bio-Attenuation, Landfarming and Bio-Augmentation.
In the case of soil remediation by Soil Washing, Landfarming and Biopile techniques, Akka2O COnTRASolv® is extremely effective in decontaminating groundwater by directly injecting the product, without the need for catchment works to recover it (thus avoiding the production of waste and its treatment).
