Our company, Akka2o Green Projects srl, has decided to join PMI Lombardy Region.
The regional office PMIregionelombardia was born from the national union Pmi Imprese and, through its president Mauro Massa and close collaboration agreements with esteemed professionals in the area, is close to small and medium-sized enterprises offering a range of services from access to credit to European funds, legal assistance, corporate and business consulting.
PMI Lombardy Region has, upon its founding, signed an agreement with PMI INTERNATIONAL, the large Confederation of Enterprises in the World, which recently appointed Mauro Massa himself as its president.
To better understand the weight of SMEs within the Italian economic and productive framework, it is good to dwell on the numbers. Out of 4.4 million active enterprises in Italy, microenterprises with fewer than 10 employees are the numerically most important ones, accounting for 95.05 percent of the total, compared to 0.09 percent of large enterprises. Italian SMEs, on the other hand, number about 206,000, or the remaining 4.86 percent of the Italian business fabric, and are responsible, alone, for 41 percent of all turnover generated in Italy, 33 percent of all private sector employment and 38 percent of the country's value added.
Quoting the Confindustria's SME 2022 report, "In a phase such as the current one, characterized by strong uncertainty about future economic scenarios and in which the effects of two years of very deep crisis are still evident, the structural limitations of SMEs appear more evident than ever and risky for the system's resilience in the face of the new criticalities generated by the recent war events and the crisis of raw material supplies, especially energy. Structural and conjunctural criticalities define a framework in which it is necessary to act with diversified, but equally effective interventions and, above all, dedicated to supporting the competitiveness of businesses, the real engine for the country's recovery."
The Lombardy regional office works for the qualification, affirmation, promotion and social development of Enrolled Enterprises, also by organizing initiatives of judicial, fiscal and tax protection; political - trade union initiatives; activities and relations with European, National, Regional and Local Institutions; initiatives and training activities for the dissemination of business culture; dissemination of development opportunities, professional and entrepreneurial qualification and continuing education; promotion initiatives both National and International; activities of organization and promotion of services for enterprises.
PMIregionelombardia interprets and protects the needs of its members through the design and implementation of services and operational tools . Services are provided through its own facilities and/or through agreements/conventions with national and foreign facilities and/or companies, leaders in their fields of expertise, with specializations at the highest levels.
Thanks to the structure that Pmiregionelombardia has put in place, it is able to offer, to its members, assistance that is no longer sectorial but global, and at the best conditions, in terms of quality and cost, that can be found in the specific market.
PMI INTERNATIONAL, on the other hand, the great confederation of Enterprises in the World, is a national organization, articulated on territorial planes and carries out its functions within the framework of the principles attributed by the statutes.
PMI INTERNATIONAL, together with Associations and National Trade Foundations constitutes the system of representation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, according to the dictates of the European Union.
PMI INTERNATIONAL is also the holder of general representation of economic and trade union policy on institutional matters at the national and international levels.
