Akka2o had the pleasure of participating in Interspill 2025, held in London. Considered one of the most important international events dedicated to oil spill prevention and response and environmental protection, Interspill was a unique opportunity for our team to explore emerging trends, cutting-edge technologies, and industry best practices from around the world.
A global meeting for environmental resilience
Hosted at ExCeL London, Interspill 2025 brought together key stakeholders from the petroleum, maritime, environmental, and emergency response sectors. From advanced containment solutions to real-time monitoring technologies to sustainable remediation strategies, the exhibition and conference highlighted how innovation is redefining how the world addresses marine and coastal pollution.
Although Akka2o did not exhibit this year, our participation allowed us to observe and interact with the sector from a new perspective. Our team explored a wide range of booths and exhibits and took part in stimulating discussions that reinforced the importance of cross-sector collaboration in addressing environmental challenges.
Inspiration and vision for future innovation
For Akka2o, the value of Interspill 2025 went far beyond observing the latest technologies. We were particularly impressed by the focus on climate adaptation, digital technologies and nature-based solutions-all areas fully in line with Akka2o's mission: to develop environmentally friendly water and waste treatment solutions.
